Making Birdies explores the tumultuous relationship between wildlife and golf and how it has developed over the course of time. It focuses mainly on Red Squirrels who are one of our most charismatic and intriguing species. They have quite the backstory and their population has plummeted due to habitat loss and the introduction of the invasive Grey Squirrel. It was filmed at various locations in Scotland including Blairgowrie Golf Club and the Old Course at St Andrews.
